A quick and easy shell I painted for myself and my new 2.2 Losi Comp Crawler. I painted this one while broadcasting on BlogTV to a few friends from the Airbrush Forum.

A basic paintjob with minimal masking. Went out to brandsoftheworld.com found the Amp Energy logo. With some basic modifications in Corel Draw I cut out a reverse mask of the logo for the top of the shell. There are 3 colors in the logo (hard to see in the photos) Black outline, Silver outline and Gray fill.

This was painted using the DeVilbiss Dagr , Faskolor and AA paints.
Faspearl Black, Faspearl White, Fasecent Blue mixed with Fasyellow for the green, Faspearl charcoal. AutoAir Green Candy for the stripes backed with a mix of the Faspearl Black and White for a nice pearlized silver. The stripes almost look like reflective tape in the sun.

Shortly after the shell painting, the blogtv broadcast turned into a "Rebuild your Silentaire Compressor" show... My new(to me) compressor was not sealed enough and started to dump oil everywhere. The upside of the rebuild, she's as clean or cleaner than new and running great!

Thanks to those that watched, it was fun, even the compressor rebuild had its moments.
