My friend wanted me to paint his 2.2 Losi Rock Crawler shell for him. He originally wanted a "Monsoon" theme, I gave it a whirl, and was not impressed with my results at all. A quick wash with hot wanter and denatured alcohol and I had a clean shell again.

So after a few minutes of contemplating what to do I decided to go with a RedBull Racing theme. I found most of the locos needed at brandsoftheworld.com which is a great website for finding vector logos to use in your plotter or art.

I painted this shell while on BlogTV and recorded most of the process. A few people watched from the Airbrush Forum, thanks for the company it was fun... (video's below)

This was painted with the DeVilbiss Dagr airbrush and AutoAir Colors paints. Pretty straight forward paintjob, cut the mask out on the plotter after the artwork was created, some fineline tape masking for the lines and thats about it.
